About the role
A large manufacturing company in Gatineau is hiring for this role. You will manage the plant's daily operations, from receiving and shipping through production, maintenance, quality control and inventory. You will also own budgets and capital projects, and lead the plant team.
What you'll do
- Manage daily plant operations, including receiving, shipping, production, maintenance and quality control
- Oversee inventory and keep it accurate
- Manage plant budgets and capital projects
- Lead and supervise plant employees
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental and applicable labour requirements
What you bring
- Experience managing plant operations across production, maintenance, quality and logistics
- Experience leading and supervising plant employees
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental and labour requirements
- Comfort managing budgets and capital projects
