About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing it, working alongside the engineering and production teams.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its supporting systems.
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and follow safety procedures.
- Manage critical spare parts.
- Document maintenance work and coordinate with engineering and production.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and calibrate machines.
- Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Clear documentation habits and comfort working with engineering and production teams.
