About the role
A large manufacturing company in Delta is hiring for this role. You will keep production equipment running through preventive maintenance and hands-on repair, and you will help the plant improve how it works through Lean Manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and low-voltage electrical issues
- Repair pumps, conveyors and packaging equipment
- Document completed work in the CMMS
- Manage parts and vendors, and use rigging equipment safely
- Contribute process improvements through Lean Manufacturing
What you bring
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills on industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems
- Experience with pumps, conveyors and packaging equipment
- Familiarity with a CMMS and with rigging equipment
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
