About the role
A large aviation and aerospace component manufacturing company in Halifax is hiring for this role. You will keep complex production equipment running, including robots, CNC machines and other plant equipment, and return it to service when it goes down.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, then return it to service
- Install and overhaul plant equipment
- Source repair components
- Interpret schematics and PLC programs
- Maintain equipment documentation
- Follow environmental, health and safety procedures
What you bring
- Experience maintaining and repairing complex electro-mechanical production equipment
- Familiarity with robots and CNC machines
- Ability to read schematics and PLC programs
- Care for accurate equipment documentation
- A working commitment to environmental, health and safety procedures
