About the role
A large software development company in Mountain View is hiring for this role. You will own the revenue accounting close and the review of complex customer arrangements under ASC 606. The role also improves the controls, systems and processes behind revenue reporting.
What you'll do
- Lead and review the revenue accounting close
- Evaluate complex customer arrangements under ASC 606
- Manage revenue account reconciliations
- Prepare reporting and audit deliverables
- Improve controls, systems and processes using data analysis, automation and AI tools, including UAT
What you bring
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 and how it applies to complex customer arrangements
- Experience leading a revenue accounting close and reviewing reconciliations
- Experience preparing reporting and audit deliverables
- Comfort with data analysis, automation and user acceptance testing of systems changes
- The ability to work across functions to improve processes
