About the role
A large business consulting and services company in Minneapolis is hiring for this role. You will own project accounting, including billing, revenue recognition and reconciliations, and work with Client Services Event Managers to keep project financials accurate and the revenue accounting process improving.
What you'll do
- Manage project billing and revenue recognition in line with GAAP and company processes
- Prepare reconciliations and project journal entries
- Support the month-end close
- Analyze project financial statements and working capital
- Prepare reports and improve revenue accounting processes with Client Services Event Managers
What you bring
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with project billing, revenue recognition and reconciliations
- Comfort preparing journal entries and supporting a month-end close
- Ability to analyze project financials and working capital
- Skill collaborating with non-finance partners such as event managers
