About the role
A large software development company in Portland is hiring for this role. You will own the global accounts receivable month-end close and keep the accounting audit-ready. The role also exists to improve and scale AR accounting through automation and stronger controls.
What you'll do
- Run the global accounts receivable month-end close, including reconciliations and accruals
- Maintain the AFDA and CECL models
- Prepare management reporting and audit-ready documentation
- Improve and scale AR accounting through AI and automation
- Align processes across teams and support SAP and other system implementations
What you bring
- Hands-on accounts receivable and month-end close experience at a managerial level
- Working knowledge of AFDA and CECL modelling
- A strong grounding in accounting controls and audit documentation
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems and how they change with implementations
- Comfort working across functions to align processes
