About the role
A small accounting company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will support the company's clients through monthly and year-end closes and turn the numbers into forecasts and clear financial insights. You will work alongside the bookkeeping and advisory teams and assist fractional CFOs.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with bookkeeping and advisory teams to complete monthly and year-end closes
- Maintain client accounting processes
- Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts and strategic forecasts
- Communicate financial insights and anomalies to clients
- Support cost and process improvements, assist fractional CFOs, and prepare or review government tax submissions
What you bring
- Senior-level accounting experience, including month-end and year-end closes
- Experience preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts
- The ability to explain financial results and anomalies clearly to clients
- Working knowledge of government tax submissions
