A large company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. The manager owns supply chain execution from demand planning through distribution, keeping product available, service levels high and costs under control. The role also leads improvement work and develops the team.
What you'll do
- Manage execution across demand planning, inventory, procurement and distribution
- Track supplier performance and hold service levels and product availability on target
- Lead improvement initiatives that reduce cost and risk
- Develop and coach the supply chain team
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and logistics partners on compliance and business growth
What you bring
- Experience managing end-to-end supply chain, including planning, inventory and procurement
- A background managing supplier performance and working with logistics partners
- A track record of leading improvement initiatives
- The ability to lead and develop a team
- Working knowledge of compliance and risk in a supply chain setting
