A small accounting company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will work across audit and review engagements, financial statements and tax returns, and support more complex work such as reorganizations, valuations and due diligence. Client relationships are a core part of the job.
What you'll do
- Assist with audit and review engagements
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns
- Support corporate reorganizations, business valuations and due diligence
- Respond to client requests and suggestions to build strong client relationships
What you bring
- Intermediate-level accounting experience, including audit and review work
- Hands-on experience preparing financial statements and corporate and personal tax returns
- Exposure to, or interest in, reorganizations, business valuations and due diligence
- Client service skills and clear communication
