About the role
A large professional services company in Saskatoon is hiring for this role. You will own the financial control of projects, from budgets and forecasts through to closeout. The role exists to keep project cost, schedule and risk visible and to support corrective action when results drift.
What you'll do
- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, forecasts and costs.
- Identify variances and support corrective actions.
- Prepare project reports and coordinate governance reviews.
- Track financial health and KPIs across your projects.
- Support project setup, change management, re-baselining and closeout.
What you bring
- Experience controlling project budgets, forecasts and costs.
- The ability to spot variances and explain their causes and risks.
- Comfort preparing project reports and supporting governance reviews.
- Working knowledge of change management and re-baselining.
