A small import and export company in Brampton is hiring for this role. The Accounting Manager leads accounting operations and the accounting team across multiple entities, and owns the financial close and reporting. The role also supports financial planning and management decision-making.
What you'll do
- Lead the accounting team and day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities
- Oversee the financial close and reporting
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory accounting
- Oversee compliance, audits and banking requirements
- Improve controls, processes, automation and ERP workflows
What you bring
- Experience leading an accounting team and a month-end close
- Working knowledge of AR, AP and inventory accounting
- Familiarity with audits, compliance and banking requirements
- Experience with ERP workflows and process improvement
- Exposure to cross-border activities and financial planning support
